    Description

    Circa 1900 - 1920, Zuni figure with period style hair and mustache, checkerboard pattern on breast, six point asterisk figure with a series of dots on the back. Dark mineral paint on a cream color slip. The heavy solid form has applied arms and facial features with carved mouth, eyes and eyeholes. A very rare and unusual early Zuni figure. In as shown condition. Please study the photos as they are part of the description.  Stands 4” tall x 2 3/4” wide x 2 " in depth. Offered here fresh out of a Santa Fe collector's estate for the first time.  Payment in full is expected within 48 hours.  Shipping cost includes insurance and signature confirmation.  Will be packed up large to insure safe arrival.
