    Description

In this sale, you'll an authentic terra cotta bowl, old when it was purchased in Mexico in the early 1970s.  We brought it home to our
    Mediterranean
Home/ Spanish style as my mom/dad really enjoyed the wares of Old Mexico.  This one, I'm quite sure (but can be corrected by an expert ebayer) is before 1934 & it is a native MEXICAN ware! Done in old style...the redware, thick glaze, big Motif!   IF YOU WISH, and you know what this is worth, pls write in w/ messages.
I'm willing to take an offer that's right for this antique.
This is ONE of the last I have, although I'll be putting up an old Tonala (?) set...before markings even.  The bowl says MEXICO on back.  I went to Mexico City D.F. about 2 yrs ago & visited Frida Khalo & Diego Rivera's place...saw many hand thrown or hand crafted bowls & wares there...in the full, bright colors of aqua, yellow, teal etc.  This one has a sunflower motif twice on surface.  In between those, feathers and spirals, typical of Mexican heritage. It's glaze is rich & mottled!  It's in my opinion, one of best we took home to cherish.  It's definitely had it's day with condition.  There are some issues here & there & everywhere, but is solid, thick & intact.  No lines.  The crazing in glaze is beautiful to me...and you can see where it bubbled up a bit in the kiln (back side,...near word Mexico)  - blues & yellows are the main colors to carry this one.
I do wrap very well and shipping (approximating) will run .25 ish with my $.50 fee, although USPS  might be slightly more or less to continental U.S.  If we get too heavy with items, I need to switch another carrier and I DO combine if it's a safe carry for other items.  Note, the price estimated above -  This is for the Continental U.S.! only.... not far-reaching islands, territories or isthmuses! or ... I add .50 per package & use recycled.  Sometimes I find a box is best way, but I just try to mail as cheaply as possibly for buyer. I will have to cancel bid if your not in a region where I can get the item easily sent.  As you know, the system takes out a healthy fee on shipping costs, etc.......Shout out if you wish a different delivery method.  I don't take offers much less than the original list price - normally allow for some give for interested parties...whatever is reasonable.  That said, if you love it, don't hesitate to make an offer --- there's a number in there somewhere we can both agree to.  I have taken advantage of the photo cache to put other things I need to sell, antiques, collectibles & jewels, including fine jewelry, collectibles:  great Crown Trifari up for sale now, etc.  Nothing is returnable.  I am selling my family or my estate items & it's difficult to parcel out what I can't keep due to space.  Once they are headed your direction, they don't come back unless some misrepresentation or mis-description on my part.  I do have great feedback and hope to keep just that - 100%, so if you have problems, I'm sure we'll work it out!  Trusted seller (and buyer) for many years!
We do combine shipping.  No returns unless the item described was defective or clearly not as described in the listing. Remember, shipping fees now have a ebay charge to seller. Normally, for packaging, materials, I add a quarter charge will be added to cover my costs for wrapping, or packaging materials (I use recycled when possible.)
Happy Shopping on ebay!  I have many years of buying and selling and 100% feedback.
