This rare and wonderfully preserved classic S.H. robot from the 1960s is Mr. PATROL with SIREN – the scarce, elusive version with the robot face. Most of these Mr. PATROL robots have an astronaut face – a seldom seen for sale, much smaller number was produced with the robot head. This example has it all – clean battery compartment and with 2 good batteries he walks, light and meters  go off on his chest and every few paces he stops, raises his arms 3 times and the siren wails 3 times. This fine robot received good care and storage over the years – no rust or corrosion anywhere and no issues of concern. The ONLY thing to note is a modest horizontal stress line to the upper part of his plastic chest cover – short and harmless. The picture box is NOT a repro – many robots are offered by dealers with reproduction boxes – this box is original to the robot and is in quite good condition with a few  mild scuffs but no broken corners and no loss. A good opportunity to acquire a fine, quite rare and exceptionally nice original  - these vintage robots, especially the very good ones, are only escalating in value.
