Moon Ranger Mercury Mark IV Battery Op Flying Saucer Mint in Box

A beautiful working example of the red and yellow version of the Moon Ranger Mercury Mark IV space ship. This great little Hong Kong battery operated space toy was manufactured in the 1970s. The toy appears to be in new old stock condition with little if any play wear. The box has great graphics and is in excellent condition with some creasing in one corner and minor storage wear.
The space ship functions with bump and go action, a loud 'space noise', and an illuminated color dome. The dome is in perfect condition without scratches or damage as is the rest of the toy. The on-off switch is on upper part of the toy and works as it should. The antenna is loose by design but will stay in place, as shown in the photos, by gently pulling it into the 'up' position. The space ship is about 7 & 1/2 inches in diameter and 4 inches in height. Hong Kong space toys from the 1970s are becoming highly collectible; this is a really nice example to add to your robot or space toys collection.
