    Description

    This is an absolutely beautiful Santa Clara Pueblo Pottery bowl . It has a beautiful clay shape - the old thick walls. The designs are still in very good shape - vibrant color and thick cream slip. The burnishing is lovely against the cream bands.  The pot measures 5 1/2" across the open top x 5 1/4" H. This is a highly collectible pot with it substantial weight, lovely top shaping, the thick cream against burnished red/orange --- represents rich cultural history and traditional artistry.  Great for a pottery collection or on a shelf of its own.
