    Description

Such a fantastic vase/canister. It is about 11" tall and 5" at widest point. Clearly signed on base "Polatsung", unknown artist. And carries the corn clan symbol as well. Additionally it can be dated based upon the "From the Hopi Villages" sticker, a Fred Harvey trading post sticker, that in this style was used until the 1920's. It has no chips or cracks but does have very small surface scratches that are visible in pictures, otherwise just a wonderful example of Hopi pottery from presumable the famous Nampeyo Corn Clan. I am an experienced shipper and will ensure it is packed well. Great opportunity to own a wonderful Native American Hopi pot that should be the center of your collection.
