    Stunning Barro Negro pottery bowl, likely from Oaxaca, Mexico. This is an early example of the style, likely over 100 years old. Previous owner had it appraised and it was dated 1900-1940. Previous to that it was owned by a well known collector who was also a professional restorer of antiquities at one of the most respected museums in NYC. Beautiful leaf and grass motif makes this bowl standout. The piece does not bare an artist signature. Will look excellent on display in your home.
