  • Condition: This is the early tin leg and foot with the metal antenna (later versions came with plastic legs, plastic feet and a plastic radar dish). C9 with much gloss and the original metal antenna. The plastic face cover is clean but missing the two front tabs at the bottom. The face plate is still tightly affixed to the head. Tin battery box is clean. All parts are original. Comes in the ORIGINAL artwork box which has sharp graphics. There is an expertly repaired tear to one of the end flaps with a small piece missing (area of the “I” and “M”). About 13” tall. All functions work but he is wobbly and may fall over.

    1960s ORIGINAL “TELEVISION SPACEMAN” ROBOT WITH BOX
    An original TELEVISION SPACEMAN made in the 1960s by Alps Company, Japan. Battery operated with walking action, swinging arms, rotating eyes, flashing colored mouth, and moving picture TV screen. The TV antenna is the ON/OFF switch when it is inserted or removed from the head. This is the early tin leg and foot with the metal antenna (later versions came with plastic legs, plastic feet and a plastic radar dish). C9 with much gloss and the original metal antenna.
